FullStack Engineer

NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of NN Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced FullStack Engineer to help modernise our front-end applications, automate processes and build high-quality digital products used across the organisation.

Your impact as FullStack Engineer

As a FullStack Engineer, you will collaborate with colleagues to build front-end applications for business units in the 10 countries where Nationale Nederlanden International operates. You will combine modern front-end engineering with Node.js back-end development, helping teams create reusable, scalable solutions and ensuring local teams can continue developing and supporting the products after delivery. Knowledge-sharing is a central part of the role: you will support squad members and technical leads through training, documentation and individual guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Build front-end applications and digital products for international business units.
• Contribute to the architecture of reusable front-end solutions through an inner-source way of working.
• Design, document, build and deploy effective front-end architectures and applications.
• Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for front-end development across the organisation.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, engineers and local teams.
• Help local teams develop, support and evolve the products after delivery.
• Educate squad members and technical leads through training and individual support.
• Take ownership of feature development and project delivery.
• Produce clear documentation, READMEs and contribution guidelines.

Who you are

• You have experience building high-quality software in collaboration with UX designers and engineers.
• You have up-to-date knowledge of modern front-end JavaScript and TypeScript engineering, preferably with React.
• You have experience as a Node.js back-end engineer.
• You are comfortable working in Agile Scrum teams.
• You take responsibility for feature development and project delivery.
• You have experience with Git; Azure DevOps is preferred but not required.
• You understand pipelines, package management, unit testing and integration testing.
• You have experience with CI/CD through Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.
• You communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• You have strong organisational and analytical skills.
• You have experience designing flexible components and delivering documentation, READMEs and contribution guidelines.
