Accessibility is often treated as something to validate at the end of a project. But what if it became part of the development process from the very first test?
In this interactive workshop, participants will build a simple ToDo application while applying Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, and accessibility-focused testing techniques. Along the way, we'll explore how modern frontend testing frameworks can be enhanced with accessibility tooling to create applications that are both reliable and inclusive.
Using practical exercises and collaborative development practices, attendees will learn how XP principles can improve software quality while making accessibility a natural part of everyday development rather than a last-minute requirement.
To participate in the coding exercises, attendees should bring:

For everyone:
All product-development roles are welcome, including developers, product designers, product managers, QA engineers, and engineering leaders.
Developers will benefit the most from the hands-on exercises, while designers and product managers will gain a better understanding of accessibility requirements, legislation, and how inclusive design can be embedded into modern development workflows.
